1940's BJL Bohemian Jewelers Marcasite Pin Vintage Jewelry

Very pretty vintage BJL marcasite brooch with pink enameled flowers. The BJL hallmark stands for Bohemian Jewelers Ltd. This company was formed in 1946 in Birmingham, UK. They produced jewelry under the registered trademark “Bomarc”. Almost all BJL costume jewelry is signed with BJL, with some pieces carrying an extra B in addition to the BJL mark.

This pin has the extra "B". It measures 2 1/2" long. There are no missing marcasite and it is in lovely shape.

These pins are a bit hard to find in the US.

Most are being sold out of England with hefty postal charges if you do not reside there.
