Mod original 1960s mini skirt pin.
These adorable little pins were worn on the hems of mini skirts back in the 1960's. They were called "knee ticklers" because the ball on the end was suppose to tickle your knee.
This was a popular saying in the 1960's on shows like Laugh-In.

I looked online and I read there was a show back in the day called the Paul Dixon show and he used to pick women out of his audience and pin these on their skirts. Now that's entertainment!
The "tickler" measures about 3 1/4" long. Measures 1 1/2" across.
Although I am not sure what mini skirt they were talking about, because the mini skirts were worn so short the ball would hang no where near your knee! LOL!
Of course you can wear this anywhere you please. Fabulous to wear for a retro party!
This pin has a few paint chips on the SIDES. The original card does have some wear. Sold as is.
