1970's Shirley Gadol Wrap Skirt Oil Well Appliques Ft. Laufderdale Vintage Ladies Clothing

From my vintage shop that closed in the '90's.

I am selling off my vintage stock.

Fabulous and fun off white vintage 1970's Shirley Gadol poly/cotton wrap skirt with embroidered oil well appliqués.

The tags read Shirley Gladol Ft. Lauderdale XL with washing instructions on the back. The other tag reads 65% Polyester and 35% cotton. I was shocked this had any poly in it, as it comes across as a heavy almost cotton duck fabric. It has beige and brown piping on the hem.

The size tag reads XL, but that is a vintage size. Please pay attention to measurements below.

The measurements are as follows:

Measured open and flat, it measures 44" across the top , NOT including the ties.

Each tie is 23" long.

Length is 29" log. I tis a pretty full skirt. And of course it has the pass through opening on the waist band to pass the tie through to tie on the side.

This skirt was too large for the mannequin as you can see.

It has a few light spots here and there. One near the oil wells on the front. The embroidered appliqué has a name on it, but I can not make it out.

This can use a professional cleaning. Ask them to spot clean also, but the stain has been there quite a while, so I doubt it will come out.
