WONDERFUL and unique genuine black bakelite cloak sash buckle with matching large button. The centers are glass inserts. There is a crack in the glass button on one side of the sash. If you touch this up with a little gold paint, it will not be as noticeable. As you can see yourself it is not too noticeable from afar. Please view 5th photo where I have outlined the crack.

All three pieces have metal shanks.

There are also four spaces per piece where you can put rhinestones in if you so desire. There is no evidence of foil or glue residue in any of these spaces, so I believe this is just the way the glass was molded and not missing stones. I tried a few stones in the spaces and they work out well. I think black rhinestones would look smashing. The sash measures just under 5" long while linked together.

The button measures 2" across and it is chunky. The other two pieces on the sash are the same size as the button. The backs of the sash have a wonderful patina.

This set is being sold "as is" due to the crack. It is secure. The bakelite has been TESTED. Absolutely fabulous for your costume creation.
