Original 1960's pink mod "shimmy" vintage choker necklace.

Old stock never worn.

I know this is called a "shimmy necklace" because I have two other necklace in green and red that have their original tags which read "Shimmy". When you move it back and forth it appears to "shimmy". These are reminiscent of the "shimmy" fringed dresses that were first worn in the 1920's and then became popular again in the 1960's. Especially with go-go dancers.

Most likely these were made in Japan.

It has never been worn and it is in absolute perfect shape. There are FIVE lucid strands and they turn every which way when worn and it is very light weight. Each strand is 1/2" wide.
