Pierre Signed Rhinestone Pin RARE Open Backed Purple Aurora Borealis Vintage Costume Jewelry

RARE and stunning vintage signed Pierre purple and aurora borealis pin. Open backed marquise stones. I couldn't find anything on Pierre until I contacted a jewelry identification website.

The gal told me that Pierre was a company in Canada and may be connected to Sherman. Sherman made quality pieces and is very collectible and sought after. The stones used are the same brilliance and quality as Sherman and some of them are open backed. The pin measures 2 3/4" long. One of the marquise stones has a crack, but it is stable in its setting. It is very hard to notice. There are a few minor nips to the marquise ends which I can only find using a jeweler's loupe. Sold as is.
