"Did I do that?" LOL!
This is a very rare Ralston Purina 1991-1992 Urkel-O's cereal sales promo binder with what looks like the complete promo contents. This is from my personal collection. I had one other that previously sold. I had no idea that I had another one in storage that hasn't been opened since the 1990's. I have never seen another one like this except the one I previously sold. This is an ultra rare piece of memorabilia!
There is a very LONG detailed description of the contents in the binder and there are LOTS of photos.
This binder measures 10" x 11 1/2" with a 1 1/2" spine width.
The front of the binder has a clear plastic clear sleeve on with a glossy promo photo insert that can slide out.
The sheet is a bit rumpled.
This binder has the following papers, ads and named cardboard tab separators:
First Tab reads- Sales Objectives. It has some brown speckling on the left hand side of the sheet and some rubs on the bottom corner. It has one sheet that reads Urkel-O's Brand Cereal Sales Objectives
2nd Tab sup- Sales Bulletin - And has seven sheets that are dated Dec 6th 1991 with Ralston Purina header and logo.
The title is Specialty Foods Branded Broker Bulletin #149.
3rd Tab- reads Fact Sheets- Two Sheets. It has two different letters to the brokers with Ralston Purina header.
4th Tab- reads Questions and Answers - 2 printed sheets
5th Tab- reads Price Margin Worksheet - One sheet Suggested Retails/Profits- one printed page.
6th Tab- reads Sales Profits Materials- Glossy Photos of Urkel "What's and Urkel?" -and "Urkel Mania" and "Introducing Urkel- O's", also a printed page of the Retail Premium Program, and two double side Retail Display Premiums, A display Verification Form (4 pages)
A sheet with a UPS code, glossy promo with coupon sheet, a Market Circ. Sheet dated 1992, and two other sheets dated 1991
A glossy "RAP :30 Brandsell Advertising sheet that has a comic strip style graphics featuring Laura from the Family Matters TV show dated 1991.
Two sheets that resemble stationary with edge graphics and the back is an Advertising Promotion Plan.
A glossy black and white sheet with different graphics and the last in this section is a printed sheet which is a "POS Order" (point of sale) form.
7th Tab- reads Broker Incentives - one printed sheet of Broker Incentive Plan
8th Tab- reads Production Specifications - two printed sheets. The very last page is a Finished Product Handling Specifications with graphics. I thas a crease near the binder clips from being closed.
The binder has no cracks and is in wonderful shape. No rust or pitting of the metal clip. There is some minor pseckling of the sheet edges. There are some surface scratches to the plastic sleeve on the front of the binder and one TINY indent. In wonderful shape over all as you can see.
No musty smells. It was stored in a closed tote box since the 1990's.
