Vintage Billiken Mammoth Tusk Fossil Ivory ? Cufflinks

Vintage mammoth tusk fossil ivory ? cufflinks. These carved faces are called Billikens. Billiken is known as "The God of Things as They Ought to Be".

The faces measure just under 1 1/4" long and 3/4" wide at the widest part.

I see a few hairline cracks on the chins which probably happened during carving. There is a yellow tint to them from age. The backs are not marked.

I am not an expert on Billikens or mammoth tusk, so you will have to judge these for yourself.
