Vintage Krazy Kat (that was the way it was spelled) enameled cat playing banjo pin. It measures 1 1/4" long. The pin back is a little difficult to use and the back has patina. I did not try to clean it. There is some enamel war and some lines (also known as crazing) in the enamel below the eyes. Sold as is.

Info on Krazy Kat:

1920's-1930's or earlier enameled "Krazy Cat" pin.

Krazy Kat was also known as Krazy & Ignatz in some reprints and compilations, is an American newspaper comic strip by cartoonist George Herriman, which ran from 1913 to 1944.

But I remember watching black and white Krazy Kat cartoons on TV. It was one of my favorites. Her side kick was a brick throwing mouse named Ignatz. She was in love with Ignatz and would always say "Oh Ignatz!" And there was also Officer Bull Pupp. But the cartoon I watched was a remake of the original silent Krazy Kat cartoons.
