Vintage Serafin Moctezuma Taxco Mexican Silver Pin Brooch Fine Jewelry
Vintage 1930's-40' signed Serafin Moctezuma Taxco sterling silver "bubble" pin. Please excuse the red and white reflections from my camera and window. They are not marks or discolorations on the pin.
I gave this piece only a quickie polish.
It measures 2" long and weighs 6.8 grams. The pin shaft has a slight wave. View last photo. Perhaps a jeweler can straighten it out if it bothers you.
Some info on Serafin Moctezuma:
Serafin Moctezuma is known for being a jewelry craftsman with a silver workshop located in Taxco, Mexico. His sterling silver jewelry designs were often close copies of William Spratling’s work. Collectible today as examples of the silver manufacturing culture in Taxco during the 1930s and ‘40s.
